    About Us

CKYTV.NET is the first online local TV network for the counties of Boyle, Casey, Garrard, Lincoln, and Mercer, plus the surrounding areas in Kentucky. The first channel is CKYTV1.COM where you will find local news and weather, live streaming sports and events (for anyone who misses the live streams, these programs will be available on demand as well), plus locally produced programming whenever possible. We also invite anyone who has now their own show posted on YouTube or Vimeo to contact us about having their show streamed on our channels as well.
We also are offering local schools a chance to get involved. We have the capability of live streaming local high school sporting events and school produced programs for the students, teachers, parents, and the community. CKYTV.NET also sponsors a local ''streaming club'' for each local school who wants one. This gets the students involved in all aspects of production. They will participate in camera operation, editing, live production, sports commentary, and much more. Each school is also invited to produce a weekly program about events happening as their school as well.
The public is also invited to participate in the network, from their own shows, to news tips and story ideas they would like to see covered on the network. You can send news tips and ideas to centralkytvnews@gmail.com or text to (859) 319-6788. The public's participation is vital to this worthwhile project growing. The near future plans are to create additional channels too, one for each county and for surrounding areas as well. Please feel free to contact us.

June is an awesome month in the Mercer County Region. There is so much to do and see and so many businesses ready to welcome you.

We have had a great many grand opens and ribbon cuttings so far for the year.  Make sure to patronize local and keep them and the economy strong.

Hope to see you at the Settlement & Raid and Juneteenth this month.
