• Licensed/Certified Electrician

    Earth Breeze is looking for a Licensed/Certified Electrician to be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to installing, setting up, and maintaining electrical infrastructure within our manufacturing facility.

    As a Licensed/Certified Electrician (reporting to the Facilities and Maintenance Manager), you'll be responsible for performing wire pulls and installations for new and existing production equipment; installing electrical wiring and conduit throughout the facility; troubleshooting electrical malfunctions; and performing repairs. You'll also play a key role in maintaining systems, supporting equipment installation projects, and adhering to safety standards.

    Responsibilities:

    As a Licensed/Certified Electrician at Earth Breeze, you will…

    • Perform wire pulls, conduit installation, and electrical connections for new and existing production equipment, including drum dryers, fans, air compressors, box erectors, and HVAC/AC units
    • Install receptacles, outlets, and other electrical infrastructure throughout the facility as needed
    • Establish and maintain reliable electrical connections, reducing the likelihood of accidents and optimizing the usability of electricity across the facility
    • Execute plans of electrical wiring for functioning electrical systems
    • Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks, ensuring compatibility of components
    • Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them
    • Read and interpret electrical schematics and equipment manuals to properly wire and connect industrial equipment
    • Prevent system breakdowns by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, and cleaning cables, etc.
    • Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units
    • Coordinate with the Facilities and Maintenance Manager on upcoming equipment installs and projects to plan and prioritize electrical work in-house

    About You:

    You have…

    • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
    • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring, including industrial/commercial systems and three-phase power.
    • Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
    • Proficient with test meters and other diagnostic equipment.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Comfort working around active production equipment in a manufacturing environment.

    Experience & Qualifications:

    You bring…

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Must hold a current active Kentucky Journeyman Electrician license/Master Electrician license.
    • License must be verifiable through the Kentucky Department of Housing, Buildings, and Construction.
    • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification a plus.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
    • Must be physically able to pull wires and cables through conduits.

    Additional Requirements:

    Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check. Drug testing may include pre-employment testing, random testing where permitted, and testing based on reasonable suspicion, in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
