"What's New & What's Next with AI"
What does it look like when a master electrician with zero coding background uses AI to build a real software business from scratch? In this session of What's New & What's Next With AI, you'll find out -- and more importantly, you'll learn how to apply the same thinking to your own business.
Jason Walls spent 15 years pulling wire in Louisville before using AI to build EVChargeRight, an automated tool that helps homeowners determine whether their electrical panel can support an EV charger -- without a costly truck roll. He built it by talking to AI the same way he'd explain a job to an apprentice. No computer science degree. No startup capital. Just trade expertise and the right tools.
Kentucky SBDC Program Coordinator Kevin Norvell will open the session with a look at how AI is changing the rules for starting and running a business in 2026. Then Jason takes the floor -- walking through his founder story, demonstrating the product live, and sharing the practical AI strategies he uses every day that any business owner can start using tomorrow.
