2026 MERCER COUNTY, KY GENERAL ELECTION POLITICAL CANDIDATE FORUMS

 

Three General Political Candidate Forums will be held in Mercer County in October 2026 to help voters make more informed decisions.

 

On Monday October 5, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. candidates for Mercer County School Board District 2, 2nd District Magistrate, Mercer County Judge Executive, Mercer County Sheriff, 50th Judicial Circuit Division 1 Circuit Judge, and State Representative for the 55th District have been invited to the Campbellsville University Gymnasium, 772 University Drive, Harrodsburg, KY 40330 to introduce themselves and answer questions from students from Burgin and Mercer County approved by the Democrat and Republican Chairs. 

 

On Tuesday October 6, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. candidates for Harrodsburg City Commission will be invited to the Campbellsville University Gymnasium to do the same.

 

On Thursday October 8, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. candidates for Burgin Independent School District, Burgin City Council and Burgin Mayor will be invited to the Campbellsville Gymnasium to do the same.

 

Citizens may attend in person or listen to Hometown Radio WHBN at 1420 AM or 99.5 FM, or watch/listen via the Harrodsburg Herald Facebook.
