DESCRIPTION:OPEN HOUSE at CAMP HORSIN' AROUND --- PHASE ONE OF CONSTRUCTION COMPLETED!!!\n\n \n\nOn Sunday\, May 17\, 2015 from 1-4 P.M.\n\nWednesday\, May 20\, 2015 10-2 P.M\n\n \n\nPhase one of the construction of Camp Horsin' Around is complete!  There are 5 cabins housing 140 campers and counselors\, the medical building\, the administration/residence building\, the pavilion and the dining hall.  To enhance the adventures of the kids there is a swimming pool\, climbing wall\, basketball court\, fishing pond (complete with paddle boats)\, and a new swinging bridge across the river to the meadow and the picnic pavilion.\n\nIncorporated in 2002 a dedicated Board of Directors persevered for more than 12 years to complete this amazing facility.  Ever mindful of the mission to provide organized groups the premier adventure camp experience for children whose health is compromised or those with special needs this Board dealt with many obstacles and a wavering economy.  \n\nThe camp has been operating on a limited basis for five years however the 2015 session will be fully operational.  The first campers arrive on June 1. \n\nOn Sunday\, May 17\, 2015 from 1-4 P.M. and on Wednesday\, May 20\, 2015 10-2 P.M. the Camp will host open houses to allow the many supporters and interested parties to see first hand this outstanding and modern facility for campers.  The camp is located at 1159 Claunch Road\, Perryville\, Kentucky.\n\nThis dream became a reality thanks to the generous support of many caring donors and supporters.  It is a privately funded project
