VOLUNTEER.\n\nFriends and early childhood partners\, it's time to speak up.\n\nUnited Way is putting a stake in the ground\, because Kentucky's children and families need us. For many hard-working\n\nfamilies\, the basic ingredients for a good life are increasingly out of reach. During our LIVE UNITED DAY AT THE CAPITOL\,\n\nwe're standing up for a brighter tomorrow. Friends and advocates from across the Commonwealth will convene to show\n\ncollective support for United Way's priorities of education\, financial stability\, and health.\n\n \n\nThe day will include:\n\n  State legislative and Cabinet Speakers\, including: Senate President Robert Stivers (invited)\, House Speaker Greg\n\nStumbo (invited)\, Secretary Audrey Haynes\, CHFS (invited)\, Terry Tolan\, Executive Director of the\n\nGovernor's Office of Early Childhood\, and more.\n\n  Personal visits with legislators to talk about priorities for your local community\n\n  A rally in the second floor of the State Capitol to greet your legislators and display the work of United Way and its partners across the state\n\n  Recognition of representatives and friends of United Way on both the House and Senate floors\, including the passage of special LIVE UNITED DAY resolutions\, acknowledging the continuous good work of local United Way staff\, partners\, volunteers\, contributors and advocates\n\nJOIN HANDS.
