DESCRIPTION:Are you curious to see (and hear!) what it would have been like for the Shakers to sing together in the Meeting House? On a weekly basis\, hundreds of Shakers gathered together to sing and dance in this space. Join us for our Meeting House Community Sing and help us sing the space back into use!\n\n\n\nThe Meeting House Community Sing is a special event that will take place to celebrate the official reopening of the Meeting House. In 2017\, Shaker Village launched its largest preservation project since the 1960s in order to preserve\, protect and interpret the Village's spiritual center. Work on the Meeting House is complete\, but the Centre Family Dwelling will continue to undergo preservation work until later this fall. Make plans to join us again once the Centre Family Dwelling reopens!
