SUMMARY:Burgin Christmas Parade
DESCRIPTION:Parade route begins in Ash Dan Estates. Ends at High Street turning right onto High Street and coming around on Bonta Lane. All parade participants should review the parade route before the day of the event.\n\n\n\nThe parade will be live\, in person for viewing. As of right now\, it will not be aired online. Participants can park along the parade route or stand/sit in public spaces along the parade route. Be mindful of private property.\n\n\n\nThe chili cook-off and hot chocolate (free) will be located on the lawn at the white house beside Burgin Fire Department on Main Street across from the post office. Anyone participating in the chili cook-off needs to have their entries there by 3:00pm on Saturday\, December 3rd. Entry is free! Come enjoy a bowl of chili and hot chocolate. Vote for your favorite chili by 5:00pm. Yum!\n\n\n\nChili and hot chocolate tables will remain in place for anyone who wants to enjoy until after the parade has ended or until supplies last.\n\n\n\nThe Christmas tree will be up and in front of the White House located next to the Burgin Fire Dept. Decorating will begin on Wednesday and Thursday of the week prior to the parade. Anyone who would like to help or add an ornament may stop by\, join in\, and/or place an ornament on the tree. The Christmas Tree Lighting will be on Saturday\, immediately before or following the parade (tentatively).\n\n\n\nClothing/coat drive\, food drive\, and toy drive donation boxes will be available as well. All donated items will go to families in Mercer County.\n\n\n\nPlease be courteous as a community and enjoy the welcoming of the Christmas season.
